Refund issue. Package returned but system doesn't acknowledge it.
Originally I did not received my order. For whatever reason, Dell decided to route the package back to the sender (THEM, Dell) without telling me. This left me confused when I check my order (without a email saying that they shipped it out in the first place).
This leads to me calling customer support to check whats going on. Long story short, they give me a refund rather than ship out another order for me. The item, according to UPS, has been returned to the seller (Dell). It has almost been a month at this point.
When I check the refund status, it stills says "Awaiting return shipment". This does not match with the UPS record. When I call customer support, they say that they have the item and I will have my refund within a week. Well, it has been almost 3 weeks. And yes, I do call them every week. Same story. Wait another week.
Still no refund. Still no status change from "Awaiting return shipment".
I imagine that it is a problem with the system, but customer support doesn't acknowledge it.

Be very Wary of UPS. Print off and save the status of the order before it disappears.
Then work with that information saved in PDF via email to dell and CC yourself to verify that you did not receive anything.
