Unable to process preferred account application
I have been on the phone since 8:45 am eastern time with DFS trying to get help with the problems I have had with trying to make a purchase from the Dell Outlet Center and applying for the Dell Pref Account. I have spoken to 17 different people in the India Call Center and Panama call center who do nothing but transfer my call to the wrong person because they do not know what they are doing and do not understand. I have begged and pleaded with them to help and they just put me on hold forever or transfer to the wrong person. This is absolutely unacceptable and unbelievable.

While we understand that technically DFS and Dell are two "separate" entities, many of us are aware of the strong relationship of the two. There is absolutely no reason for customers to have to endure this kind of absolute nonsense. While on the phone with various reps they said there were errors and to reapply. I resubmitted the app while on the phone with them and they said there was an error processing. I asked what the error was, they said they had no idea but that they cleared errors and info and to try again. Same thing over and over i begged and pleaded to please escalate and they would either put on eternal hold and eventually disconnect me or transfer to random sales people who said they could not help it was a DFS specialist issue. I spent almost 4 hours on the phone with 17 people being transferred between people who were less than helpful and had no idea how to do their job. Not a single person could assist me. I have never been treated so poorly by a company in my life. Dell and DFS should be ashamed of themselves. In this economy to treat a customer with such carelessness disrespect is a horrible business model. Dell used to be an American company with upstanding values and respect for the customer. Stockholders are not the backbone or life of Dell, customers are.
