XPS 8950, production dates

My XPS 8950 is also scheduled to be shipped on Dec. 20 2021. It went into production on the afternoon of Dec. 18 2021. I doubt it will be shipped on time. I ordered on November 30 2021.

Mine just showed up in production, will see!!!

My 8950 is to be shipped 12/20...but still waiting to enter production.  Fingers crossed!  Previous replies sound promising!

habe am 13.12.21 bestellt. Versand voraussichtlich am 21.12. Lieferung am 28.12.21

Status bisher immer noch auf "bestätigt".

Bestellt : XPS 8950 mit Core i5.

Mone was shipped late, had been delivered, and upgraded to WIn 1. Now satisfied.

I really hope Dell can stick close to their estimates.  My old Dell  will indirectly be replaced by this new one, is limping along on Windows 7 and the new Dell would be some fresh air.  I've ordered many Dells over the years, but eager for the i9 and the new RAM...plus the white case will take me back to the 80's!!

I hope it arrives sooner than later too. The Desktop (Dell Inspiron) that is in use now has been a great computer but at this point it has seen better days. I didn't get the I9 because other than benchmarking I doubt I will even get close to using the 12700k's capabilities.....Even an 11th gen I3 would have been a step up from my current processor. I kinda wish that I had got the white case but in the end I couldn't justify the extra price, my build was already getting expensive enough.

My current order just went into production and says the are on track to deliver the 8950 by dec 28.  8950 has white chassis, i9, 32DDR5, 3060ti GPU.

I was told there is a shortage of white chassis with 750 watt power supply and optical drive. ...but will of course remain optimistic.  Support has been helpful and mentioned shipping within the United States.

I was wondering if anyone else had their XPS 8950 shipped today December 20 2021? Mine was supposed to ship today but as of 3:30 PST, it has not. I selected express shipping and my order status page still says on track to be delivered tomorrow.....

My production did not change until 7:30 PST, I'm thing that's when shipping will update. 

Order delayed till January 5 2022. Apparently the only items Dell can't ship on time are computers and computer accessories.

Just received email saying  Jan 5 shipped Jan 7 receive dates.

My order shipped today December 21, 2021. So after all the misinformation and the delay notice, it shipped 1 day late. Not bad. I still think CS needs better information to relay to the customer. I believe this is more of a "overall" issue than it is a CS issue. I'm pretty sure CS works with what they have and unfortunately have to suffer the customers wrath when they have not been provided accurate info themselves.
