nightmare support

I purchase a dell XPS 15 (9550) and within 2 months noticed my battery was dying.  I now can only use a fully charged battery for less than 2 hours after charging.  Called support and was transferred 4 times before getting the right professional tech support team.  Guy I had did not seem to know much and was not able to answer basic questions.  I had him transfer me to the supervisor who answered some questions and then transferred me back to the original tech..  I spent over a hour being transferred to ultimately have them require me to download a microsoft diagnostics application which may or may not evaluate the battery to tell me if it was bad.  I know the battery is bad because I use it every day for only 2 hours max with no new programs added to the computer other than word processing.  All I need is a new battery and cannot take another hour out of my day to get this serviced.  I would return the computer for a refund but the refund expires after 30 days.  I am so upset right now.

Greetings frederickhornberger,

Thank you for bringing this to our notice. The battery performance would depend on the system usage. As you mentioned that there are minimal applications installed on the laptop, I would like to check what may have gone wrong. Please private message the service tag, registered name on the account and your email address. I'll let you further options.

You could send us a private message by hovering the mouse pointer over my username, and adding me as friend.
