That error is referring to a loss in communication to one of the internal ports on the EMM. What I would do is to check in OMSA & make sure that there are on other errors listed for your MD1220. If there are any alerts & any messages pointing to your EMM then what would need to be done is to get a Dset report so we can look at the logs & see what the MD1220 is showing as not optimal.
