PowerVault 3420 Sychronize Controller Module Clocks

Question

Happy Wednesday,I have come across a warning 'Synchronize RAID Controller Module Clocks', If I synch the times between the Management Station and Modules 0,1 will this interrupt the operation of the modules running? I see in the 3420 manual that it will not effect the RAID Control, but mentions nothing about the module (Disc) operations.Any thoughts?

Hello DanDelaware,

When you sync the clocks, it will have very little impact to your production. The sync is a very low priority task that is done on your MD3420.
