DD Boost for SQL: disable logging to SQL Log
Dear all
Is it somehow possible to disable logging of successful backup operations to the SQL Server Log? We are writing transaction log backups every 15 minutes and the log gets full of messages which are not really useful in case of successful backups.
Thanks in advance
Martina

To stop logging your transactions (well, you don't really stop logging them), you change to Simple Recovery Mode, and the transaction log is truncated at every checkpoint. Transaction Logging in SQL Server is not really something that you can turn off temporarily. mysubwaycard.com

Thanks for the reply. My question was not concerning the transaction log.I wanted to know if there is an option for emc data Domain to stop writing to the sql server error log after each Backup operation.
