Data Domain Mount CIFS share
Hi there,
I'm trying to mount a file share that I've created on a DD VE but I can't seam to workout the authentication. The appliance isn't registered in AD so I have tried using the sysadmin password which I'm 99% is right, I think the issue is what domain I should be putting in. I have put in workgroup but that didn't work, any ideas?
Thanks,
Ed

I figured it out in the end, I used the IP address of the Data Domain as the domain along with a local account username and password.
I have another issue now in regards to replication. I have pared both systems and set up the replication which appears to go through all the steps correctly but straight after I get the following issue.
Replication: cannot connect to TPS-DDVE01.local. No such file or directory
Screen grab: Image.
These are in two different locations but on the same sub net but on different networks. They should be able to talk to each other though I am getting someone to check that the ports are open.
Any ideas?
Thanks

can you ping TPS-DDVE01-local from DDVE-1 and vice-versa?

The systems connect so they must be able to ping, the issue is that the replication will not work properly.
