Java Version
I am working with a customer and we are having an issue with IE8 accessing DDOS 5.4. I have it narrowed down to the java version, but I am not finding what the accepted version for 5.4 is. Does anyone know which version of JRE will work with DDOS 5.4.1.1? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, IE8 is required for other apps the customer is using and trying to get it upgraded in the environment would be extremely difficult if not impossible. It would be much easier to get java updated so that is where I am concentrating my efforts. I am able to use non-admin chrome as well but there are some issues with using that in the environment also. Customer's security group has not signed off on its use yet. Thanks for the advice though.

IE8 is quite old - is there a chance for the customer to use another browser for test? I used to have IE8 as company delivered browser and have seen all sorts of java craziness which went away with IE9, but most of the time I use standalone non-admin Chrome which seems to work just fine.

Hey,
These is my environment and for your reference.
DDOS 5.4.0.8
IE 8
Java 6 update 45.
I can use IE8 to access DDOS 5.4.0.8
