Tool to fetch info from a Data Domain
Greetings, does anybody know of any tools that can query a DD and export the info to either an excel or word doc?
I am looking at gathering as much info as possible: Licenses, CGs, RPA info, etc.

Hi,
You can have the DD email you the daily autosupport file - this contains pretty much anything you need to know.
If permitted to email externally, this config file is emailed to EMC every day.
It is a plain text file.
You should review the admin guide and/or command reference guide for the DDOS code you are running on - it has the command steps and GUI steps on how to add yourself as a recipient.

Hello,
you can generate a kind of system documentation with a autosupport file and an EMC tool called As-Build-Configuration-Generator. ( https://elabadvisor.psapps.emc.com/licensedtools/download/185 )
With ACG you can genrate this for Avamar and NetWorker too, by the way.
