USB port status on Data Domain
How can we verify and disable whether USB ports are disabled on Data domain nodes. We want to disable the ports, avoid fro usage.

First of all the USB port in the Data Domain is for the only re-imaging purpose, at least I am not aware if there is any other purpose behind that.
EMC/DataDomain systems are designed to be re-provisioned through a USB key (thumb drive) connected to the USB port. Using other USB external devices (DVD, HDD, Cell Phones, Etc.) that are USB powered can draw more current than USB port can supply. This can cause the external device to not function and in extreme cases, cause an unexpected system shutdown.
And I think that can be only done from BIOS, not sure though. Even the answer is Yes, its not customer doable.
