lost sysadmin password on DD160

Question

Hi,

how to reset sysadmin password on DD160 ? I found some guidelines on the internet But it does not include the model of my device. If you have a solution that is fully compatible with the dd160 model.

there is a method to single user reset the password if required there is a KB 000464450 looks like only EMC and partner access though should be compatible with all DD

Do you have access to any DD users?

Do you have any other admin user available in the same Data Domain to login? if the answer is yes then raise a support case to Dell EMC, A TSE would be able to assist you to reset the password.

Although there is a documented procedure available for resetting the password cannot open that for public, as it is a restricted procedure for EMC internal and partners.

unfortunately no. there is just sysadmin user active on DD160.
