Converting 2 Columns to N columns?

"Processor use by CPU" data comes out in a format approximately like:

HOST     CPU   Use %  Observation

HostA     0     25     1/1 13:00

HostA     1     32     1/1 13:00

HostA     0     35     1/1 13:05

HostA     1     33     1/1 13:05

What I want is

HOST     CPU 0  CPU 1  Observation

HostA     25     32     1/1 13:00

HostA     35     33     1/1 13:05

I thought I had seen that one of the Aggregation operators had an option that I never used to put data out in new columns, but now that I can use it, I can't find it.

Help?

DPA 5.71 on Windows 2003, if it matters.

Hi Nick..

You will have to do this with multiple merge's (although there may be a better way)..  Sample output :-

output.JPG

The example below is for 4 cpu's but you would need to add extra branch's as required

proc1.JPG

On each dummy operator :-

Fields: Drop 'Num' and Change lavel 'CPU Utilization' to something like 'CPU 0' (incrementing by 1 for other dummy fields)

Conditions: Num equal to 0 (incrementing by 1 for other dummy fields)

Check each merge to make sure 'CPU 0,1,2,3' have not been dropped.

Hope this helps.. Send me a PM if anything is not clear
