Error Downloading File from catalog created in Rep. Manager

Good morning,

I am hoping that someone can help me out.  I am in the process of bringing up Repository Manager (RM) and Dell Open Manage Enterprise Manager (DOMEM) in my environment to update the firmware on my systems.  RM is sitting on a Windows 2016 server and Open Manage is sitting in vCenter.  RM is a VM.  I am able to pull the firmware down from Dell using RM and create a catalog.  In DOMEM, I am able to create a baseline using that catalog.  When I go to push the firmware from DOMEM down to the servers, I am getting the following error message instantly:

Error while Downloading the file. Firmware cannot continue
Task Failed. Completed With Errors.

If I create a baseline using the Dell.Com online catalog and then try to push the firmware to my servers, I am able to without any issues.  Has anyone ever seen this issue before using the catalog created from RM?  Is there something that I am missing that is causing this issue?  Any help would be greatly appreciated it.

Thanks
Tom

Hello

I suggest checking to make sure a port is not being blocked by some type of security. There is a list of ports and what they are used for in the OMEnterprise manual. You can find documentation on the OME support page.

http://www.dell.com/openmanagemanuals/

Thanks

Hello Tom,

I found something interesting when working on this environment myself and it relates to your situation. It isn't clear in the documentation; the only reason i found it was combing through firewall logs; if you configure OME to look at a catalog from a network location it will try to download firmware from that same network location not go out to dell.com. This product is really confusing here's to figuring it out together.

Thank You,

Brian
