No duplicate groups possible within group structure

Question

Dear, I am having trouble creating a custom groupname. I.e. my goal is to create a group structure in such a way that i have to assign every server to a single group based on location and type of server. When i have a structure like the one below, and i want to add the group 'servertype1' underneath location2, i get the message 'Name is duplicate' and the 'Finish' button dissapears. The way i am trying to create the new group: Menu on the left -> click on 3 dots next to 'Static Groups' -> 'create new static group' '''location1   servertype1   servertype2location2 ''' An acceptable limitation to me would be, that it's not possible to create another group 'servertype1' underneath the group 'location1', but why can't i create the group 'servertype1' underneath the group 'location2' ? Can't this be considered as being a bug? Because a groupname is used as a primary key instead of an id internally? ps: i am using version v3.2.1.29   Thank you ! greetings, Christof.

Hello Group names must be unique. Custom group names and default group names cannot be the same, regardless of hierarchy. This is not a bug, but thank you for the feedback. Thanks

Hello,   I know they have to be unique now, but is this something that can be put on the feature list for the future? As this seems to be a usefull feature for more people.   greetings, Christof.
