OpenManage Server Administrator features?
Hi,
I've installed this OpenManage Enterprise Appliance becuse I had problems with OpenManage Server Administrator.
I thought that it would provide the same features but it seems that it is not the case.
It let me opens the iDRAC of the servers but nothing like the OpenManage Server Administrator that is better than the iDRAC access?

Hi and thanks for the question.
OMSA is the tool that provides 'in-band' one-to-one management of your PowerEdge server. It installs on the operating system itself and will help you manage and monitor the health of your server in a one-to-one manner.
The iDRAC GUI is built in to the server and servers as the one-to-one 'out-of-band' management and monitor tool that does much of the same as OMSA but without the need to install in-band tools (on the OS).
OMEnt and OMEss are the one-to-many management and monitoring tools that allow you to manage your PowerEdge servers. You can still click through to the 1:1 tools from them. OMEnt is the 'newer' tool that focuses mostly on out-of-band (iDRAC) management and monitoring.
