Remote Console 'Launch Virtual Console' button grayed out

Question

This is a new install of the latest OMEnterprise version (3.5) running on esxi. First server discovered in-band via ssh is a PowerEdge R740XD. All details appear present, however, the Remote Console section shows 'No preview available' and the 'Launch Virtual Console' button is grayed out. Refresh does nothing. Second server discovered the same way is a PowerEdge R540 with same licensing and the Remote Console section is also grayed out. Both are latest iDRAC9 v 4.40.00.00 build 47. I can navigate directly to the out-of-band iDRAC IP address and the virtual console works as expected. What am I missing that the Remote Console does not work within OMEnterprise?  It's as if the OME discovery is not recognizing the iDRAC module/IP.   TIA

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm gathering that if a Dell server is discovered via in-band IP address (requiring ssh) that iDRAC is not discoverable and so remote console is not available.

So it seems that in order to use the remote console within OME, one must discover the device via iDRAC out-of-band IP using wsman/redfish?

Hi, can we make sure that your license is idrac 'enterprise'? idrac express does not support virtual console, please double check Happy New Year!

Yes, iDRAC licenses are Enterprise. This works as expected in OM Essentials.

What I found is that if I discover devices using out-of-band iDRAC IP + Redfish, the Remote Console is visible, available and functions as expected.

If I discover devices using in-band IP and SSH, it doesn't seem to recognize the presence of iDRAC and so those features are not available.
