Precision T1500 don't support. NIC is a broadcom card and iAMT need Intel NIC.
Do you have the tag number of the Precision T1500?
In Dell systems supporting iAMT press F12 on the boot and then you can see the boot options, if iAMT is enabled on the system the option to go to the MEBx should appear here.
I don't know why system is displaying this messages regarding Intel ME, but I'm 100% sure Precison T1500 don't support iAMT, Precision T1600 does (if you purchase the T1600 system with iAMT/vPro support).
Broadcom ethernet card don't support iAMT anf T1500 has a broadcom NIC.
I think you shouldn’t swap the motherboard, All Precision T1500 motherboards doesn't support iAMT, and if you use other motherboard model or non-Dell motherboard you'll lose your still two years of warranty.
My recommendation is if you need to test iAMT/vPro on Precision you have to buy a Precision T1600 with the iAMT/vPro enabled. If you buy a T1600 with no iAMT/vPro support/enabled you'll never get iAMT/vPro on that system.

Service Tag is
BIOS is 2.4.0
Pressing F12, displays the boot menu with the following options:
- HDD:
- CD/DVD
- Pre-boot System Assessment (PSA+)
- Boot to Utility Partition
-
There is nothing in the Setup to enable AMT or any mention of AMT.
Pressing Ctrl+P does nothing at all either..
But it does display the following during boot up.
* Intel(R) Management Engine BIOS Extension v6.0.3.0019
* Intel(R) ME Firmware version 6.0.30.1203

Oh well, that's a real shame.. Wish I had known this when I purchased the machine 12 months ago..
So I'm guessing the only way to fix this is to swap the motherboard out, right ?
