How can I move my database to a different SQL Server?

I have OME installed using one of our SQL servers.  We need to get rid of that server so I need to move the database to a different SQL server.  Is it as simple as having our DBA move the database and then just editing something in OME to point to the new location or is there a more involved process I'd need to follow?

Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the query.

After moving the database (remove from source and restore at target), when you launch OME for the first time, it will ask for database reconfiguration. You need to provide new SQL server and instance details with credentials to finish the process. No other edits required.

Always good to keep a backup copied. Also, good to keep following white paper handy for any database related tasks / operations needed with OME:
