Incorrect System Update data.
I'm using ftp.dell.com as my repository.
I've inventoried 11 out of 16 PowerEdge M610s with identical hardware.
Problem 1: OME hasn't managed to inventory 5 of the 16 blades.
Problem 2: In Non-Compliant Systems, one of the M610s is listed as needing NIC_DRVR_WIN_R308572.EXE, which does not appear as an option for M610s on Drivers and Downloads. This package is not installed on any of the blades (but only reported as missing on the one).
Problem 3: None of the M610s are reporting that then need the new bios update that was released last week BIOS_56CWX_WN32_6.1.0.EXE (I've installed it on one of the 16).
Any ideas?

Hi and thanks for the post.
#1
Can you confirm that the 5 suspect servers are showing up in your device tree under Servers or Modular systems? And when you click on them, you see inventory data on the right side?
If those 5 systems are in the discovery range and the credentials (WMI or SNMP comm string) are correct (and the servers have OMSA on them), then you should be getting inventory.
You can also run the Dell Troubleshooting tool that is installed on your desktop and see what the results of the SNMP test (or WMI) against one of the suspect managed nodes.

This is based on the catalog and once have run our comparison report against the server inventory with the catalog this is the package that is required. Is the package showing up in OME non-complaint section?

Are you sure you are running the latest catalog from the ftp site? There is a "Get latest" button. When I go to View Active Catalog it says: W6YD5, Jan12.
Thanks,
Rob
