Install of OpenManage Essentials to server fails Prereqs
PowerEdge T320
Has Windows Server 2012R2
Will not pass prereqs This system does not have either the supported version of Microsoft ASP.NET or
the supported feature installed
But .net 3.5 and and .net 4.5 are installed as features as part of this O/S.
Worked with Dell support in December they stated that maybe it is because R2 is not yet supported. It been released since October. Has anyone else run into this? Did you get a resolution?

Hi there and thanks for the post.
OME 1.2 supports install on Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2012.
Support for Windows 2012R2 is included in an upcoming release. I expect it will be sometime in Q1.

Rob,
Is there any update to the planned release window of OME support for WIndows 2012R2? I am trying to determine if I can afford to wait for it for my 2012R2 machines or if I should pursue third party options.

I don't have an official date to announce, but it feels like less than two weeks. Perhaps less than that even.
