Inventory Collector Agent not installing
I am doing a rather large deployment of OMSA to various Dell servers (2950, R510, R720, etc) with both Windows Server 2008 and 2003 (so both OMSA 7.1 and 7.2)
We have seen a small number of instances were the Inventory Collector Agent just doesn't install. No errors on the box or install etc. We find out when it comes in as a "fix it" on the System Update page.
It isn't related to OS, server type or OMSA version (both 7.1 for 2003 and 7.2). Weird but the small sampling has been almost perfectly distributed over different boxes and OS types (I think only 1 duplicate "environment"). It has also happened with 2 different people doing the installs (and having done numerous normal and "troublesome" setups :) )
They have all been fixed by re-running OMSA from the original download/unzip and choosing Repair. So it isn't like the bits are bad or the machine or something....
Any ideas why this might be occurring. It isn't a big deal but wondering if it might be indicative of a larger/different issue with said machine.

Are you trying to deploy OMSA from OME ?
Do you see the issue even if OMSA is deployed manually on a single end node ?
Does it happen on all the end nodes or only few systems ?

All the installs are manual on the node from the current bits off dell site. as noted originally only happens for a small number. About 10 so far out of 300. It is fixed by simply rerunning install and choosing repair. No new download or other changes to machine.
