Hi and thanks for the post.

Can you look in the MIB and ensure they actually have traps defined?  You should see TRAP-TYPE or NOTIFICATION-TYPE sections in there if they do.

If you can point us to a download of the mib file, I can get the guys to look at it as well.

Hello.

Sry for the late answer i downloaded the mib from here download.synology.com/.../Synology_MIB_File.zip

The zip includes 3 mib files. I tried to search for trap and notification in the files but could not find any.

Thanks for getting back.

The MIB tool is working ok in this instance.  These mibs do not have any alerts defined.  This is not unusual.  They may just be used for getting data (e.g., a mib walk).  You may check with the vendor to see if they support hardware alerts with a different MIB.
