Monitoring Dell MD3460 Storage Array controller

Question

Hi, Regarding the steps for monitoring Dell MD3460 Storage Array controllers ...... After adding the IP addresses under Discovery Ranges, then Selecting the PowerVault MD Array as well as SNMP as the device type, OME still will not identify the PowerVault correctly but leaves it as Unclassified. Are there any other required Protocols to enable for this device discovery from the list below? Any specific ports that need opening on Firewalls? Thx very much, John Bradshaw

Hi John, Discovery options are correct. No need to add any other protocol. Additionally, ensure port 2463 is allowed from OME to the managed node in the firewall settings.
