OME 1.2.1 - Email alert when system updates are available
We have recently started using Dell servers and OME. We have added, inventoried all our servers and used OME to patch our servers.
We would like to receive an email alert when new software and/or firmware is available for our servers is this possible through OME 1.2.1?

Hi Rob,
Thank you for passing on my request, it would be a useful feature! I currently use the Technical Update Subscriptions to email when relevant updates are released.

Hi there, and thanks for trying OME.
We don't have a feature like this. I will pass along your request to the product team that handles feature requests. I know some folks will use RSS to track these things.
For example:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/poweredge-m610
Then in the top right corner subscribe to the RSS feed. Not sure if that is any help or not.
