OME Updates unreliable?
I seem to have unreliable results when trying to apply system updates through OME. Have updated to v1.0.1.1253, but we still seem to have trouble.
Today, tried NIC driver update. OME reports success (see log below), but system still shows as non-compliant in OME, requiring the same update. Server has been rebooted, and inventory has been re-run. Event log shows update was applied.
PackageStatus: The Update Package was applied successfully.

Thanks for your note. Do you remember when the last inventory was done? From the information, it looks like the inventory is not refreshed in OME as a result the update is still showing up as applicable.
Can you check the inventory information for that servers and see what version is shown for the NIC driver under Software Inventory Information table.
You can also look at Device Inventory Time under Device Summary.
