OME & iDRAC least privilege account permissions
Hi all,
What are the least iDRAC User Privileges we can grant to an iDRAC user account to enable OME to perform inventory?
To me it doesnt make sense the WS-Man account has the ability to do things like power cycle the hardware.

Hi,
The iDRAC User with "Read Only" role should be sufficient to perform the inventory of the server in OME (iDRAC has three roles - "Read Only", "Operator" and "Administrator").
Pl. note OME also allows to perform operations like system update, run racadm based remote tasks, server configuration, etc. for which higher user privileges will be required.
