Right, so I do wonder a bit about the OMSA install on that particular box.
Do a quick Troubleshooting Tool test (SNMP or WMI) against that managed node. The TS tool is on the OME desktop. Be sure you see the Server Administrator version in the result set when it runs. If not, full stop and we have to get OMSA installed properly.
If you have to re-install OMSA:
- Go to the windows temp folder and Delete all the OMSA related items. - Uninstall OMSA - Re-install OMSA 7.3 - Gather the inventory for the device by re-discovery it with OME - Run the update
Just in case someone else wants to know how mine worked. After installing OMSA I try to install updates remotely, but it did not work. After a lot of research I decided to reboot and then tried it again. After a reboot it works. Since OMSA did not call for a reboot, I guess we never restarted the server. I hope that helps.
