Server Administrator Deployment

Question

I'm hoping someone here could shed some light to my situation. I am trying to deploy the latest version of OMSA 6.5 to my servers.  I am running OpenManage Essentials 1.0.1. I have tried to deploy OMSA to several servers but keep on getting the following error: 'Results:   File deploy command failed to execute with error message: The deploy operation failed.  Unable to copy the file to the remote system.' I have placed the Dell OMSA 6.5 install files in the directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\SysMgt\Essentials\SystemUpdate\Packages When creating the deployment task, i enter in \fqdn\c$\Program Files (x86)\Dell\SysMgt\Essentials\SystemUpdate\Packages Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like you are putting the packages in "our" folder :-)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\SysMgt\Essentials\SystemUpdate\Packages

Maybe try one folder up…

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\SysMgt\Essentials\SystemUpdate\
