System Update selected the incorrect Broadcom firmware update

The installed version is 7.4.8 and the System Update want to do an "upgrade" to 7.2.20.  In the advanced settings I have always used "disable downgrades".  I've tried re-inventoring the server and that has not worked.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jack

Hi Jack,

Yeah, that doesn't seem right.

Ok, probably need a few screen shots or data from you.

1. Catalog date and version you are using (View Active Catalog)

2. Screen shot of selected updates to apply table

3. Screen shot of Software Inventory table (Manage | Devices...device tree, click on server, right side scroll down to Software Inventory.

Be sure to mask any personal/private info like ip addr.

Thx

Rob

Can you send me an email address I can send the screen prints to?  I am having troubles with this "rich formatting.

Here is a workaround to try:

From "Manage -> System Updates->Summary", Click "Advanced Settings".

Click "Enable Downgrades" and "OK". Wait for 10 minutes.

Click "Disable Downgrades" and "OK". Wait for 10 minutes.

Let us know if the correct updates are shown.

The workaround solved the problem.  Both servers are reporting correctly.

Thanks,

Jack
