Hi TDSK,

I find both the components available in the Dell Online Catalog in DRM 1.8 and I'm able to download them using DRM. Could you please let us know what you are trying to do, in the sense export of SUU/LWDP for which platform? Download of these components could have failed during the export due to network disconnect

Thanks,

Krishna

Thanks TDSK, looks like a download issue. Doesn't seem a straight one to root cause, due to you being able to download other files and I being able to download these files you weren't able to. Can you please mail me the logs from the Help menu? That would help me see what is the reason for a failed download at your side

Thanks,

Krishna (krishna_kashyap_c@dell.com)

Hi Krishna,

This is for Windows 32bit and 64bit packages. I have tried it doing it individually also.

Plugins are also upto date. v731 for 32bit v730 for 64bit.

However if it failed durin the export then it shoudl log it , but the logs says downloaded sucessfully.

I also used the new feature "view online catalog" search component Network_Firmware_P32M4_WN64_7.6.15.exe downlaod file and the job fails.

1. 12/30/2013 5:00:21 AM Component Download : Started Processing...
2. 12/30/2013 5:00:22 AM Component Download : Failed downloading some components

Proxy issues is ruled out as others files are downloaded fine.

Thanks

Hi,

I downloaded the 2 components individually and the download was success. After that I created a bundle out of it and exported it as SUU directory which was also success. Are you trying to import the catalog from SUU DVD?

Thanks,

Shashi

I have a similar issue as I'm unable to download the files:

"Job Name: Component Download

Job Status: Failed

Job Result:
Component download location: D:\Repository
Components failed to download:"

Checking the log, I can see:

ComponentDownloadJob.JobFunction: No download links available for component download

I didn't try all the packages, but it failed for all the random tests I did.

Any idea?

Hi,

The repository location is being taken as "D:\" drive. But I guess there is no repository isn't available there anymore due to which it is failing.

Are you using a locally stored catalog or is it a Dell Online Catalog?

Thanks,

Shashi

I'm using Dell Online Catalog. It was working before (meaning 2 or 3 weeks ago), I was able to download all the files in one shot, or file by file.

Any idea?

I get the same problem if I try to save the Full Repository (Catalog file and all the update package).

it was resolved after moving\deleting RepositoryManager.sdf @ to %localappdata%\RepositoryManager\Database

I had the same problem where some components would not download at all.
About 200 out of 276 did download fine.
Erased the file RepositoryManager.sdf and everything is downloading fine so far....

Thanks for the fix.
