50+ ft VGA cable issues
Hello,
I am trying to setup projectors in 24 classrooms. Half of the computers are new Dell Optiplex 380s with Windows 7 32bit and the other half are older Lenovos with Windows XP. I purchased and installed EVGA 8400 gs video cards on each computer. The Lenovos running Windows XP have no trouble working with the 50ft VGA Cables but the 380s running Windows 7 act like nothing is connected. There is no signal on the projectors and even if I plug the 50ft VGA cable into a monitor there is no signal. I've tried to lower the resolution to the lowest setting and tried using different brands of 50ft-100ft VGA cables, even 50ft DVI cables. This doesn't make any sense. Is there some kind of setting that needs to be adjusted in Windows 7 before it will work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can you test a projector on one of the Win7 PCs using the standard 6ft cable we shipped?

Chris,
I have tested the standard cable on both a monitor and the projector and they work. Neither will work with any 50ft VGA or DVI cable I have tried.
Thanks,
Roger
