ATI Video card for Dimension 3000

I recently purchased a ATI Radeon 9000 video card for my dell Dimension 3000...I followed the installation by disabling the Intel Graphics in Device Manager, installed the card, plugged in the monitors and booted it up....nothing happened...it's like it's not registering the card...What do I do?
