B110 will not boot if USB Scandisk Cruzer Micro is inserted
I have done a search and this problem dates back from 2000, but there doesn't seem to be any consensus solution.
There is only one rev of BIOS for this PC. My PC's BIOS is set up so that booting from USB is #2 choice, and yet it still does this.
What do I do?

Yeah, I know. But it shouldn't be like this. :(
The infuriating part is that I found out this problem by accident.
I was going to copy files from my old PC to this new one, and it wouldn't boot.
I was freaking out big time.
I was able to leave the flash drive inserted on my Dimension 4100 24/7 and didn't have this problem.
Goes to show 2 steps forward/ 1 step back.

I would set the boot device priority to.
1-hard drive
2-floppy ( if you have one)
3-optical drive
4- usb & disable if the option is there
Dont know if these options are in your bios but you could check.

Did you try disabling a boot from USB?

I use many different sticks (Lexar, PNY, Adata, Sandisk) and the only one that has ever caused me this problem was the Sandisk. The solution, at least in my case, was to format the Sandisk stick. I have no idea why it worked, whether it was coincidence or just blind luck, but I no longer have to remove the Sandisk before booting. Of course by doing so, I lost the software that came preinstalled on the Sandisk. (not a major loss IMO)
I'm not suggesting this as a solution. Just passing on something that happened to work for me.

Boot Sequence has hard disk as choice #1 and cd as choice #2. That's it. No other choices.
Hard-Disk Drive Sequence has System BIOS Boot Devices as choice #1 and USB flash drive as #2. They cannot be disabled.
I also tried formatting my Sandisk as edpro suggested and unfortunately that did not work.
It looks like the only choice is not to leave the USB flash drive plugged in.
