CMOS battery for Dimension 8200

My 8200 eleven years old is working faultless (with MS/ HP) -- THANKS DELL !!

I started to get messages "The system battery voltage is low, Press F1..." and I understand that I have to change the CMOS battery.

But NOWHERE can I find information - WHAT BATTERY FOR REPLACEMENT and HOW TO DO THE REPLACEMENT (details which could be very important)

NOTHING in the User manual, NOTHING in the DELL Knowledge base, NOTHING in various Searches of the DELL Support -- SHAME DELL !!

Please help me with my questions.

Many thanks for attention

The CMOS battery is a quarter sized L-I coin cell battery located on the motherboard, near the top. It is a 3-Volt CR2032 Just shut down and disconnect computer, open it, pull the old battery and put in the new. Take proper precautions to discharge static, etc... If you do this before the battery dies, you shouldn't have to worry about CMOS settings in system setup, though you might want to F2 during setup and make note of them.
