CPU for Dimension 3100
What processor is compatible with my motherboard for my dimension 3100? I can't seem to get the answer anywhere. Trying to troubleshoot a computer I picked up that will not fire up. It's getting power but all that comes on is motherboard lights and lead lights flash on front panel.

The e310/3100 takes only P4 or Celeron-D processors.
A Socket LGA 775 Prescott, P4 3.4gb, 800FSB is the maximum size processor that can be installed.

This may help you troubleshoot the e310/3100.
Is the power button LED, solid green, blinking green, solid amber, blinking amber, or off?
