Can't find Audio Equalizer Controller?

Jump to solution

Hey guys, this is my main Dell 660s Small Form Factor desktop.  I bought some new cheap Logitech Speakers a while back.  I thought they sounded horrible...until I found a little Equalizer built into, what I think was the little Dell Audio Software I installed from the official Dell 660s driver site.  Now, I can't find the Darn Thing to make changes again?  I've opened the "Dell Audio", and the Windows "Sound" many times, but still cannot find the Equalizer that I found before, that allowed me to Change a PreSet in the Equalizer to make these speakers actually sound good.  Can someone please tell me where they hide this little tool/Equalizer?

Boy, really got to jump through some hoops to post here with the I'm not a robot thingy.

Finally figured it out, and created a little Tutorial for the Dell Members.

Not sure how to Insert Text in a Dialogue Box here so will just paste it.

1. Right Click "Dell Audio" and Select "Audio Devices"
2. In "Playback" Dialogue Box, Click on "Speakers" Entry.
3. This will Activate the "Properties", button bottom right, Click on it.
4. In "Speaker "Properties" Dialogue Box that comes up, Click on "Enhancements" Tab.
5. Select "Equalizer" in the Dialogue Box that has the little Scroll Bar.
6. This will Activate the "Settings" Choices at bottom for the "Equalizer",
Select the Option wanted.

OMG, This whole Captcha thing is out of control!!!  I almost quit this entry!

it's an application _Maxx Audio.  Should be there in Win 8-10.
