Can't see all Memory on Dell 4550
I have a dell 4550, Bios=A01, OS=XP-sp3. I reloaded and updated OS recently and now can't see all available memory. I have a 256 mem stick and a 1GB memory stick. However system only recognozes 512MB of memory. Is there something I need to do to recognize all available memory?

First thing to try: reseat (remove and reinstall) both modules. If they're not recognized, remove one and then the other to see what happens until you find the faulty one.
