Computer Has no HDMI port, can I add one?
Ok here is what is going on I have a desktop and it does not have a HDMI port. I have a video camera that I need to stream video into Adobe Visual Communicator and Open Broadcaster. I'm using HDMI because of the video quality. Is there a such thing as a PCI or PCIe card that has a HDMI port to where I can use my desktop for this feature? Thanks

HDMI on a video card is output only and is not used to send video to the computer. The camera must have a usb cable connector to transfer video to the hard drive. HDMI on a video card is only for attaching a monitor. You would need the camera's software capture program as well as drivers.

Yes--install a new video card with hdmi if all you need is a video OUT port.
