Cord for my isnt working for my dell inspiron 3235

My dell inspiron 3235 is giving me a message of  alert! A 0 W AC power adaper has been detected, which less than  the recommon 65w adapter original shipped the system will just to match the power abailable.  It keeps shuting off and i dont know what type of cord it takes. I need help please.

I have now same message and it says a non genuine ac adapter detected and I need 65w  adapter or it wont boot.  I put it in same adapter it came with , whats going on

Could be the adapter, the DC jack or the mainboard.  Replace the adapter first - if that doesn't solve the problem, replace the DC jack -- and if that doesn't solve the problem, it's a mainboard fault and you'll need to replace the system board.
