I see five chipset drivers. Maybe try installing the other four first, then the one that you attempted last. Also ask the guys on the OS board.

Hello

Im back with my problem and I m trying to explain my problems (in my poor english)

I use  Optiplex 7020 with SSD disk

I use the factory image from DELL ( I dont install Windows 7 64 bits SP1 with dell 's DVD)

The first time I boot , I exexute Windows Update ( about 700Mo of KB)

After I reboot , I execute another time Windows Update  , another update

After I reboot , I execute Dell Command Update , I found 4 drivers from  DELL , I update

After I reboot, I execute an antoher time  Windows Update AND Dell Command Update

After all this my computer is up to date from Windows and DELL.

I boot , and during 2minutes   When My Desktop come up , the mouse and Keyboard dont WORK .

Another thing :

My computer is power off , I plug aUSB key

I start my computer

Since  3 minutes my usb key isNOT detected.

( If I reboot before 3mn , I have a pretty BSOD)

(Only mouse, keyboard and usb key !)

With dell suport on phone I  ve changed 3 things in bios config  :

Cstate, Deep sleep control, block sleep

I hope someone can help me  !

(Sorry the text is in french because my  I m in France)

I have the same computer and have the main SATA hard drive as a secondary drive for back up.  I have been having issues with the USB wireless adaptor causing the Internet to go down.  (Wireless only.)  With Apple Airport Extremes in extended mode.

I used a splitter for the power cables and added an SATA cable to the Motherboard for the SSD drive.  I am going to try and disconnect the power cable to the original SATA drive and leave the SSD drive as the main C: drive.

Logic is that the power adaptor might not have enough juice to power 2 hard drives and USB ports.  I would try this and see if it fixes your problem.  I will see if this fixes my issues with the USP ports and keep you posted.

If you have the same configuration I would disconnect the 2nd SATA drive and see if that fixes your problem.  If so a new power supply might fix the issue with additional power cables.
