Dell Dimension 4700 Power supply replacement
I have never had to replace a power supply so I'm kind of lost on what to buy. I know the Dimension 4700 uses a Standard ATX 24 pin but I have no clue which one to buy. Could someone please recommend one.:emotion-1:

Hi Cobmakjac,
If all you need is a replacement, simply do an internet search for "Dimension 4700 power supply". You should have no trouble finding one for under $20.

The 4700 has an open back panel, most standard ATX PSU's, with a either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard connector, with two SATA power connectors and with or without the on/off switch, can be installed.
This power supply can be purchased from most local, or online computer stores.
The procedures for replacing the PSU, are here,
A compatible 450w power supply can be purchased from here,
