Dell Inspiron 3847 User Manual

Question

The user manual available for download from Dell only contains information for replacement of components inside the tower.  Is there another manual available with information such as booting into safe mode, troubleshooting tips, how to enter BIOS, etc. If my computer crashed today I would have no clue as to how to get to System Restore and thus be able to repair it.

Will an hdmi out from the Dell 3847 to an hdmi input on my A/v receiver produce sound thru the receiver.?

I expected a user manual, as well, after spending what it costs for a new computer and monitor. If you can't get into your computer, it hardly does you any good to give you links to read. Perhaps they could keep their antivirus program that we are forced to buy even though my current antivirus program was only a month old? Or, their 90 day phone support that does no good since you can't understand the person you are speaking with? That would have saved me $49 which would have paid for a manual.

Unfortunately Dell has not provided hard copies of their computer's user manuals since 2005, usually there's copy installed on the hard drive, or it can be downloaded from here:

yes, i am running it through my tv for video play with hdmi only.
