Dell Inspiron 660s and a Graphics Card (particularly NVIDIA)

Is it possible for me to install a new graphics card on a Dell Inspiron 660s?  I have the Intel HD 2500

Something like this: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/160904981344?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649)

I'm looking to get a NVIDIA graphics card to work with some of my video and art needs, with CUDA support.

I know since it's a small-form factor and it's only limited (to my knowledge) to only one slot.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Either would work but I would choose the GT620 over the other card which is an ancient Geforce 8400.  Those cards don't have Thick Heatsinks that would require you to hack and saw at the case.

I thought I should bump this.

I've researched through electronic sites and here to get some info on good graphics card for my Dell Inspiron 660s.

What graphics card that has NVIDIA (CUDA), that would be compatible for my computer system?

Mines is a...

Dell Inspiron 660s (purchased last year - May 2013)

Intel Pentium Dual-Core G2020 - 2.9GHz

4GB DDR3 RAM

Intel HD Graphics (what I previously have)

Windows 8.1

I would like some help here.

Thanks,

Jay

No Idea if it actually fits however because the heatsink is pretty high.

Well, first off, I checked out the link you gave me.  Not what I had in mind, plus my system don't have the extra blue-pinned monitor output next to the HDMI.  I only have a HDMI and a DVI output.

Maybe I'm answering my own question, but I was looking at something similar to like this:

nVIDIA GeForce GT620 1GB DDR3 PCI Express PCIe DVI HDMI Low Profile Video Card

or

1GB Dell Inspiron 660s 620s 580s 560s 546s Low Profile Half Height HD Video Card

Would these work on my system?  Also, if I choose to upgrade my video card, do I have to un-install the Intel-HD card driver in order to use the new video card?

That's all I want to know, and see if I could get some input.

Thanks again for reply,

JB

Thanks for the response (sorry it took a while).  I did check back here in other past forum post, and many had weighed in on the NVIDIA GT620 as a viable GPU for the Dell Inspiron 660s.  I just wanted to know what's best, should I decide to purchase one for my system (and not by the wrong part).

The reason I asked was because I wanted to do video editing (not a gamer), and using a NLE particularly Davinci Resolve - but after doing some research and seeing that said NLE is a resource hog and relies heavily on video ram, I may stick with Sony Vegas (moving up to Pro Edit from my previous Movie Studio).

I will think about getting this graphics card, I just wanted an advice, and I believe I gotten it.

I appreciate it very much.
