Dell OptiPlex 760 Desktop upgrade
It has Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB SATA, Win7Pro 64-bit
Is it possible to upgrade the graphic card to something more substantial? If yes, which ones am I able to use. I am looking for something that is dedicated for maybe 3-4gb
It has 4 slots to upgrade memory but will it be able to take 8gb's for each slot? Trying to build it up what are my options.

Good day!
Thank you for writing to Dell Community Forum .
Here in this case these PCI-E cards can be installed on this system ,
*)ATI Radeon HD 3470
*)ATI Radeon HD 3450
And with reply to your second query this system can support maximum memory upto 8 gb ,which can be split as 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 3 GB, or 4GB non-ECC.
I hope this clarifies your query .If there are any more queries do reply to this post with the service tag of the system via private message so that I can check the specifications of the system.
Have a good day ahead!

Hi
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately this machine does not support more than 8GB RAM and Graphics card which we have tried and tested were 256MB cards( Which were the top of the range in 2008 when this machine was sold).
Though the slot is x16 PCI Express card compatible, the power supply unit may not be able to supply sufficient power for the currently shipping graphics card which require minimum 600W of power.
Hope that information was helpful.
Thank you

If you have a Desktop and not the SFF or USFF then a low profile radeon HD 6450 will work.
The SKI epic soulution was to DREMEL OFF THE HARD DRIVE CASE and use tape to hold the drive in.

Unfortunately, I have the Small Form Factor SFF. I thought I would be able to boost the memory and also replace the graphics card. I guess I will find another desktop to do an upgrade on. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the graphics card information. I thought with 4 slots I would be able to use 8 gb memory cards each. It comes with 2gb so I guess I will get 3 more 2gb ram cards to max out the memory.
Will use either the ATI Radeon HD 3470 or 3450. Do I need to do any special prep for this?
Thanks for getting back to me with the information.

You can upgrade the video card to a Sapphire 6450 or 6570 low-profile-ready. I used one of the latter in a similar Dell SFF.
As for memory, I believe it will handle at least 8gb.
