Dell OptiPlex 9020 support 3 simultaneous Displays

Hi,

Hope anyone can confirm the OptiPlex 9020 with 3 simultaneous displays using the

1x built in VGA port

2x built in DP port        using a DP to VGA adapter.

All my DELL displays have VGA ports only.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

The Optiplex 9020 is capable of functioning with up to three displays with the onboard graphics. The recommended set up would be to utilize both Display Ports and the VGA. Check out this blog regarding the question, It has some great information. http://randomcomputerjunkbyalex.blogspot.com/2013/10/dell-9020-3-displays.html

Just an FYI:

I was able to successfully get three monitors to work on the Optiplex 9020. However, I frequently encounter a Blue Screen with "Stop error code 0x0000003B". I encounter this when I try to open a picture or exit a webex meeting.

1) If there is a workaround, do you know of one?

2) If not, just please document this error for future reference.

Thanks for the help!
