Dell Optiplex 745 Sound Card left channel not working
Hi
I have Dell Optiplex 745, its sound card has output in only right channel in headphones and also in external speakers. Left channel is quite silent. And when I connect headphones in front panel, its inner speaker doesn't goes off, I mean its sound doesn't go off. Any one has any suggestion please?

Hi M Ishaq,
Please run the Dell diagnostics on your audio adapter, which will tell you if there is a hardware problem with the left channel.

If the connector isn't bad it could be you are using TRRS phones TRS. The IPOD TRRS etc connection is not standard TRS. They are both 3.5mm
