Dell Precision T3500 Dual-Monitor Malfunction

Hi,

I have a business computer with IT personnel who do not answer questions or respond to requests; this hardware was put on my desk and I had to assemble it.

It has 2 Dell P2211H displays. 

The computer has an Nvidia Quadro NVS 420 card, and a single display output with an adapter with four DisplayPort outputs.

I have tested the "second" monitor by itself and it's functional, but with the primary, it states "Entering power save mode." Another message says "There is no signal coming from your computer." I have tried different positions on the display adapter to no avail.

If I disable one card, then the "second" display will pop up and function, in a low resolution mode.

The Windows and Nvidia display options seem to not recognize a second monitor.

Can anyone help with this? I want to have an extended display on two monitors.
