Dell Studio 540.. Power Supply n Video Card Upgrade.

Hi... uhm i got a few question... im planning to buy PPCS500D 500 Watt Dell Power Supply for my Dell Studio 540, because im also upgrading my video card.... so my  first question is will this Power supply fit? will it be compatible with my mother board... idk my mother board but its the same when I first bought my dell studio 540.

So basically I'm upgrading from 350w to 500w
And the video card that im planning to buy is Radeon HD 5750 which will need about 450w...
Will my power supply be compatible with my video card and mother board, does it have enough power to run the whole computer??

My Second question is...
Will Radeon HD 5750 fit on my Dell studio 540?

Sorry im noob at computers :S

The power supply will be compatible and the HD 5750 will fit.  However, if you indeed have a 350 watt power supply, you do not need to upgrade it.  The HD 5750 will work and has worked on other 350 watt Dell units.  The HD 5750 is a very power efficient card and you would probably not be using much more than 200 watts for your entire system.  The card uses a whopping 16 watts at idle and up to around 86 watts under load.
