Dell XPS 8300 Hanging
I am having intermittent problems with my 8300. Seems to just hang - nothing works, mouse, Ctrl-Alt-Del, etc. The only way out is a hard power off. This seems to have happened recently. I did just install the most recent Catalyst drivers for the AMD Radeon HD 6450 card. Was working fine before that but that is what was recommended by my update driver search.

Sometimes updating the drivers is not the best way to go. Try and uninstall the new drivers and install an older set from AMD/ATI and see if that fixes your problem.
